Why see Horrible Histories - The Concert?

Live (And Dead)

In a musical moment as legendary as when Henry VIII first penned Greensleeves, the Horrible Histories crew are back on the road in 2026 to give the public what they want - a live concert experience! Featuring a raft of tunes from the beloved CBBC Television series, get ready to rock with such greats as Dick Turpin, Charles II, and the Vikings, accompanied by a full live band!

A cherished British institution, Horrible Histories first appeared as a series of illustrated books penned by Terry Deary in 1993. Covering eras of world history with wit and plenty of gory facts, the franchise now numbers over 60 titles. In 2009, the first TV adaptation was broadcast on CBBC, carrying on the books' hilarious approach to history in sketches and song, endearing the show to a whole new audience of all ages!
